Algebra 1 (One year course)
This Saxon Algebra I course builds a strong foundation in essential algebraic concepts through a flexible, student-supported approach. Students will learn to work with variables, expressions, equations, inequalities, and functions. This course emphasizes logical thinking, problem-solving, and applying math to real-life situations. Key topics include linear equations and graphing, systems of equations, exponents, polynomials, factoring, and introductory quadratic equations. Students will need to complete 3-4 lessons weekly to complete the course by the end of the school year.
