Apologia: General Science This is a true General Science course covering a variety of branches of science including astronomy, meteorology, oceanography, earth study, geology, paleontology, and environmental science modules giving students a solid foundation in that broad field of study. This course is designed to help middle schoolers transition from elementary science to the middle school world. This class will be offered 4th period and will cost $360. Zoology 3: Land Animals course overview   Zoology involves much more than just animals! Your student will be taken on an adventure around the Earth’s biomes to explore and understand land animals and the environments they live in. They’ll explore jungles, deserts, forests, and farms, and even venture into their own backyard to investigate and enjoy the creatures God has created.  As they journey through the textbook, notebooking journal, and interactive hands-on activities, they’ll cover a wide range of lesson topics that include: Introduction to the Animals of the Sixth Day Predators and Prey Habituation Animal Careers Carnivorous Mammals Feliform Carnivores Marsupials Primates Rodentia Ungulates Order Artiodactyla Orders Squamata and Rhynchocephalia Reptiles and Amphibians Dinosaurs Arthropods Gastropods and Worms This class will be designed for 3rd-6th grade, and will be offered 3rd period.
