Course Description  Flying Creatures of the Fifth Day: Exploring Creation with Zoology 1   The ruby-throated hummingbird, yellow-rumped warbler, little brown bat, spicebush swallowtail butterfly, Mexican bean beetle, common honeybee---they all have wings, and you'll find them here in this lavishly illustrated elementary science curriculum. Using the Charlotte Mason approach, 14 lessons include notebook activities, special projects, and hands-on experiments to teach kids about birds, bugs, bees, beetles, butterflies, and more. This is a YEAR LONG unit study that is ideal for parents teaching multiple grades.  This Zoology course and the other Zoology course will be offered as year-long courses but cover different information. *This class can be taken as an enrichment course but for maximum benefit, the text and journal are recommended($60) Please contact Jessica Grant for more information and to be added to temporary class roster <This email address is being protected from spambots. Exploring Creation with Zoology 2: Swimming Creatures of the Fifth Day Dive into the underwater world of marine animals! The textbook for this curriculum is written directly to the student, the gentle conversational style makes Zoology 2: Swimming Creatures of the Fifth Day perfect for elementary children to read on their own, or for family reading times. Presenting information with a strong creationist viewpoint, this detailed course contains units on aquatic animals, whales, seals, fish, sharks, reptiles, Cephalopods and many other creatures you didn't even know existed!  There will be some note booking, ocean box making and hands on experiments coupled with this course. This is a YEAR-LONG unit study that is ideal for parents teaching multiple grades.
