Philosophy 2 College prep

This class will focus on taking the knowledge from Philosophy 1 to an expressive level.  Class lectures will focus on “tension points” within the competing worldviews and on a variety of subjects intended to underscore the veracity of the biblical worldview. Regular testing will be given on these “tension points.” “Islam” and “Post-Modernism” will be introduced as two new worldviews. Several research assignments will require access to the worldwide web.  PLEASE NOTE: This class requires more independence and self-motivation than Philosophy 1. Required: Understanding the Times: A Survey of Competing Worldviews by David Noebel & Dr. Jeff Myers 2015 $25.99 new hardback--used also available at amazon.com (Please, no KINDLE or electronic books).     Contact Carla Muller for questions or to be placed on Temporary Class Roster <This email address is being protected from spambots.
