Art History and Techniques, Grades 5-12
In this class, we will explore some of the Artistic styles and movements over the course
of history and at least one prominent artist who worked within that era and style. We’ll
emulate his or her style and technique using various mediums including watercolor
painting, acrylic painting, drawing, and sculpture. Students’ artistic skills will be
enhanced and their appreciation for the visual Arts as a form of expression will become
a part of their classical education.
Cost is $500 per year, which includes materials and the $40 HERC fee.@gmail.

Elementary Math Skills, Grades 4 and 5
This 4 th - 5 th grade math skills course focuses on enriching the students’ knowledge of
vital foundational skills using math manipulatives and group exercises. It is designed to
reinforce and develop understanding of key concepts such as place value, multiplication
and division (as well as practice in memorizing basic facts), fractions, decimals, and
measurement. This course is designed to serve as an addition to your child’s learning
and at-home curriculum.
Cost is $500+$40 HERC fee +$20 materials fee = $560 for the year, which may be split
into 2 semester payments if need be.

Famous Artists and Techniques, Grades K-4
In this class we will focus on 2 famous artists per month and his or her techniques and
style. We’ll use various mediums including watercolor, acrylics, pastels, and drawing
pencils. Students will enjoy cartooning, learning to draw faces, human bodies, and
animals.
Cost is $500 per year (includes materials) plus $40 HERC fee
